Jennifer B Glass
Jennifer Glass is an Assistant Professor in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Glass received her Ph.D. in Arizona State University, followed by a NASA Astrobiology postdoctoral fellowship at California Institute of Technology. The Glass lab studies interactions between trace metals and microbes involved in greenhouse gas cycling, with an emphasis on methane and nitrous oxide. Research is focused on modern analogs of ancient earth ecosystems and novel biotic-abiotic couplings. Current funding is provided by NASA Exobiology, the NASA Astrobiology Institute Alternative Earths Team, and NSF Biological Oceanography.
