Leonie C Moyle
Dr Leonie Moyle is a Professor of Biology at Indiana University, Bloomington. She received undergraduate degrees from Australian National University and Monash University, a PhD in Biology from Duke University, and was a Center for Population Biology Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California, Davis. Research in her group addresses the genetics and ecology of speciation and adaptation. Current areas of interest include: examining the genomic basis of rapid species radiations; testing theory about the accumulation of reproductive isolation with empirical data; and, examining the interplay between intraspecific sexual interactions and interspecific reproductive isolation. She is looking forward to being back among (the vastly superior) pouched mammals for SMBE 2016.
